Gabriel Izak is a songwriter and producer based in the Pacific Northwest.
Raised in a small town on the edge of the Redwood forest, he grew up creating fantasy realms and sonic landscapes — recording stories and textures onto cassette tapes, drawing album art for imaginary bands, and scoring DIY horror films with friends. After studying piano in college, he taught himself drums, bass, guitar, and mixing, and began producing for other artists.
At the same time, he started crafting songs of his own: playful explorations that move between nylon-string folk, stream-of-consciousness ballads, and whimsical, hyperpop-inspired world-building.
In 2023 a short film he scored for acclaimed director Nick Roney, The Flute premiered at SXSW Film Festival and won the grand jury award for Midnight Shorts.
In 2024 he produced two EP’s: Two Truths by Hugo van Buuren and Relics from Phantoms by March Adstrum. Later that year, he began releasing his first batch of singles, with more on the way. His debut album is slated for release in 2026.
